This creature features a long, streamlined body resembling that of a whale, covered in thick, velvety segments similar to a caterpillar's, adorned with vibrant patterns that mimic oceanic colors. Its large, expressive eyes rest atop a small, rounded head, while its many tiny, hair-like appendages function as sensory organs, detecting vibrations and changes in the water. The Whalepillar can reach lengths of up to 30 feet, gracefully gliding through both water and on land, and it possesses a unique dual respiratory system that allows it to breathe underwater and through specialized skin when on land.
